people who got millions of $MON truly deserved it, you can trace their monad footprint and see why :)
disclaimer: i probably got one of the smallest allocations, so this isn’t bias, just respect.
if you’re not happy with your allocation, don’t stress, post-mainnet will bring 1000× more opportunities.
keep clicking, keep gmonading 💜

@3xnottech yeah it’s spontaneous, it works until it doesn’t
best to wait till the last day reveal before checking anything

My Theory on the Monad Airdrop 🎁
to decode the distribution, you first need to understand two key systems: the Color Theory and the Number Theory.
Color Theory
there are three box types, each representing a different reward range:
🔵 blue boxes: 0 – 10,000 MON
🟣 purple boxes: 10,000 – 50,000 MON
🟡 gold boxes: 50,000+ MON
These colors likely correspond to your overall engagement or tier level.
Number Theory
there appear to be two box distribution categories:
- 5 boxes/day (15 total over 3 days): for users who qualified under multiple community tiers i.e., strong or long-term contributors.
- 3 boxes/day (9 total over 3 days): for standard participants with a single qualification tier.
🎲 Combining Both Theories
Each participant is expected to receive a mix of colors across the claiming period, either:
- 3 blue + 3 purple + 3 gold (for 3/day participants), or
- 5 blue + 5 purple + 5 gold (for 5/day participants).
the exact color distribution and reward values are likely randomized within your expected total allocation, meaning your “theoretical sum” is determined by both your qualification level and random variance in color weighting.
@monad team actually cooked with this, and my theory is most likely just 33% correct.

English

@3xnottech nah i doubt it. the team is too smart to built in too much rng into something as critical as an airdrop. my theory is that the rng is just a gimmick. you will get what you have already been allocated by the end of 3 days
English

@3xnottech This color theory is most likely wrong.
I have opened 6 boxes in total, and they are all blue boxes.
English

No, the color combination theory is wrong tho.
So far I've got 9/10 blue boxes, only one purple.
Honestly the boxes color don't really mean to an extent. It's just a matter of what you pull from your total airdrop allocation that selects the color of the box.
You can have a 100k allocation, but pull all purple 10x (10,000 or random figures between 10000-50000) I think that's how it works.

If I had $1M in crypto now, I would:
1. go full-time degen, no Plan B, only crypto.
2. relocate to a city where rent < ETH mainnet gas fees.
3. allocate $500k to add liquidity to major pairs on @NitroFinance to farm xNIT
4. toss $50k into Monad memecoins
5. keep $200k USDC ready to ape into new prediction market + gambleFi projects
6. use the rest to finish building NitroFinance... multiple audits, incentive rounds, and some cookies
7. win, win, win and keep winning

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a thought. I really hope I can do it without anyone jumping on me, because it’s simply my personal opinion – nothing more, nothing less. Some of you might agree with me, others probably won’t, and that’s totally fine. What matters to me is being able to say it in a respectful way, without insults, negativity, or unnecessary drama that doesn’t really lead anywhere. I think we all have the right to express ourselves, even if we don’t all see things the same way, as long as it’s done peacefully and with respect for each other. So, if you don’t mind, I’d like to say gmonad.
