@caulmick Its not "double strength" spray. Its double what they used to have but still 1/3 the strength of what the police in the US and other parts of the world use. It went from the weakest spray a police force could buy at 0.3 to now 0.6 . The rest of the world's police use 1.4 to 2.0

Gardaí can not pursue scramblers, because incredibly they are not trained to do so. Banning scramblers without enforcement will not save lives.

@Toibin1 While I agree that enforcement is needed, it should not be by hot pursuit. Identify, register & monitor use. Neighbours will identify who is using on the roads and who is using in designated facilities. If an owner has a bike but no means of transporting it then confiscate it.
