The great Viking QB BLAKE MOSER picked up his third D1 college football scholarship offer this week from the Portland State Vikings. PSU joins Idaho and Montana in offering the Lake Stevens 2027 returning All State QB, who ran a laser-timed 4.41 40 at UA NEXT this spring.

One major takeaway I have after immersing myself in the PEYTON PELLUER story is that Pelluer survived a coup bc he has organic friends & backers. That’s not a small thing, it’s the result of a lifetime of being a friend himself. Those ppl writing 2 page personal letters or writing from Colorado like @jtheaps9 did were doing it bc Pelluer had hours, days, months of backstory with ppl who know him for his character & stood ready to back him. I bet he prev backed a lot of these ppl. Or at least they know he would. My point isn’t just about networking it’s that there’s no shortcut to being a good person. But if you are? It’s still enough. Ppl will see it, and they pushback against the bullshit for you. Do be a good friend everyday and make that call for a friend who needs backing. Not bc you might need help one day. I’m used to seeing Risk Management step in and “manage the risk” of disciplining confirmed predators. Only makes sense that the same theory would immediately suspend a confirmed hero like Peyton Pelluer.
