This time last week we took part in the @NapoleonicAssoc event @ChilternOAM.
It was an outstanding event and proved that there’s never a better time to “take the shilling” and join one of “Wellington’s finest” living history groups.

I haven’t posted properly for ages as I’ve been sick and really busy! So prepare yourselves for a photo dump of a catch up of things that I’ve been working on for the last 6 weeks or so.
First up, some excellent training was had with the 33rd, @44thFoot and 68th Foot up north!

Next up, some more training with @44thFoot this time taking place at home in Essex. It’s great to see the unit not only making huge improvements in its material culture and drill but also really starting to gel and build some cohesion.
Some exciting times ahead for our drill!

In #London tomorrow? Why not visit @ApsleyHouse - Wellington's house! - for a big dose of Napoleonic history plus a bonus me talking about my @penswordbooks "Black Redcoats" & the importance of former slaves to the British military. Along will be re-enactors of the @44thFoot!

Four rounds a minute. Myth or Reality?
In the latest instalment from the Napoleonic Wars Pod, we see if it is actually possible to fire four rounds a minute.
