@matthew_ma7717 Peter has actually tried to kill Norman before (and ofc doesn't get to because he never stays dead), and the times he's willing to go through with these exceptions get interrupted (Mayday's Peter literally did this very thing and immediately retired after protecting his family)

@GuguCRT Been awhile since I peeped index but I always understood his ideology as valuing life and being willing to save as much as he reasonably can but also having extremely rare instances where a circumstance might cause him to have a for the greater good moment in order to save others

I feel like a lot of superhero discussions would benefit from a better distinction between characters having a 'no kill' rule versus having a 'no murder' rule.

@HazardLabz That would be just a writing inconsistency assuming they were actually killed as Aang is blatantly a pacifist and debates everyone over killing Ozai a mad dictator restating how he can't kill people because it goes against his teachings

@476_MN most of the show is him not having an issue with flinging people around and almost certainly killing folk. like when he uses air bending to send fire nation guards down a ladder from a more than 20 foot drop, they are at the very least are crippled if not just dead. many examples

@matthew_ma7717 Yh later on but in the moments where it was life or death he was willing to take him down with him (even tho he obviously couldn't due to his strength), Morlun is literally Peter's Doomsday and a being that cannot be restrained or reasoned with so it makes sense as well

@476_MN And for Morlun, you do know he couldn't bring himself to kill him in JMS' run, right? It's why his servant had to do the job (with Peter clearly not approving).
The only reason he fed on him in The Other was because he got transformed into a primal being.

shiki tohno literally vomits all over the floor once he realizes what happened w arc and he never gets past that. even in the far side routes when sacchin is trying to say "look you're such a murderer" he's sickened by the idea and why his body gets excited by it.
