@skiistiredasf A lost life and a wasted life over cheating (regardless if suspected or confirmed) will never make sense to me.

In February 2025, in Bryan, Texas, 30-year-old Brandon Dickerson shot his 23-year-old common-law wife, Alexis Walls, 15 times inside their home while their young toddler was present. Driven by unfounded jealousy, he convinced himself she was cheating. After the shooting, Dickerson called 911 himself to confess. He later pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to the maximum of 50 years in prison.

The NBA is reportedly planning to retire LeBron James’s No. 23 jersey league-wide once he officially retires. This would make him just the second player in NBA history to receive a league-wide jersey retirement, joining Bill Russell, with no future player allowed to wear No. 23 across the league.

Valkyrae revealed that Yonna reached out to do a stream together, but she declined because Yonna is only 19 and she feels it would be inappropriate since she’s older “Even though she’s a woman it feels inappropriate… I genuinely feel too old”

@BabatundeOnabaj @FrancescoSolbak @C_3C_3 And I'm speaking from personal experience working in the US. I'm not gonna go anecdote for anecdote. Protecting employees and protecting the company image are two different, often conflicting, things. I'm not sure you're following what I meant

@4AllThereExists @FrancescoSolbak @C_3C_3 You're very naive, no offense. I can speak from a relative's experience...companies will go out of their way to protect their image, even if it means just deleting evidence. A company can never investigate itself honestly. Look up the "Post Office scandal" here in the UK.

@FrancescoSolbak @C_3C_3 I can't say too much more but having "executive" in your title isn't enough for a company with all those assets under management to risk their reputation by sweeping something serious under the rug. This isn't even serious

She is an executive, and he was fired or let go before HR became involved. That makes it very easy for both the company and JPMorgan to push the “disgruntled employee” narrative. Because of that, it cannot be said with certainty that she is innocent. I would recommend that she sue him, and I would also suggest that he sue her. In my opinion, if he does not sue, that raises questions about whether he is lying. If she does not sue him, then something also seems off. At this point, the only real recourse for either of them is to sue.

@FrancescoSolbak @C_3C_3 For what you're talking about I don't think she's high enough. Also, he wouldn't be just a victim, he worked there and that complicates things if there's even a possibility of it being true. This is a PR issue and not an HR issue

This is not meant as an insult, but you are naive, wguch is fine because that is how HR would work, but there have been far too many cases where HR had defended not just the interest of the company but executives over possible victims. So no if JP Morgan investigated themselves it is bot enough. Now I do hope she sues him as that will lead to discovery. But the same goes for him if what he says is true, which will lead to discovery.

@FrancescoSolbak @C_3C_3 HR does not defend executives, they protect their employer, which in this case is the company itself. If they found an ounce of what he was claiming to be possible they would've dropped her and supported him instantly

@C_3C_3 It all depends how far they want to push it, always remember that JP Morgan investigated themselves, which means nothing simce HR will always defend Executives before people who were fired. So if it goes to trial they would be subject to discovery which would reveal everything.
