@Faurtis @sinclarrr183740 @DB_anime_info I think your overestimating how the dbs remaster would affect the moro arc, they each are being done seperately. The moro arc has been in pre production for awhile. The Dbs remaster is leading into the moro arc which is already being made seperately

@Sephanade Not enough people are giving RDJ his dues as Iron Man the movie was created with him in mind as the lead by Favreau and it helped bring Downey's career back after his substance abuse. We got good actors but RDJ played Iron Man with his entire career on the line initially

@4BitsComic I know right? Me neither. I thought it sounded ridiculous, but I ended up enjoying it waaaaay more than I expected; really delves into girls' emotional states/backgrounds and has those super rare "Oh, our modern morals are different than theirs" moments.

One thing I truly wish is that Isekais explored is the moral and psychological adjustment of those transported to another world, rather than defaulting to simple cultural relativism. It comes off as an easy way to sidestep some issues in the said manga. Glad this one didn't.

@4BitsComic It's unfortunate I'm hearing Ascendance of a Bookworm has that after the recent AI issues lmfao. I liked how Turkey! Time to Strike handled the emotional/moral aspects. Granted, it's actually time travel... and not peak or anything. It just gave me hope I'll find more 😆

@Isekaifu @trashisfire @NahimanaRaoul This is me basically saying that series like Delicious in Dungeon, Frieren, The Ancient Magus' Bride, Snow White with Red Hair, Trigun 1998, Cowboy Bebop, etc Work better by being varied with the type of world it wants to establish, which should be the entire basis of isekai!

@Isekaifu @trashisfire @NahimanaRaoul one off the top of my head anime wise is Ascendance of a Bookworm that really hit that itch of actually living and engaging in the society of the world but overall I've stuck with pure fantasy series cause theres no shortcuts for establishing a full world unlike modern isekais

@trashisfire @NahimanaRaoul a lot of the issue lies with the writing not wanting to engage with how interesting of a concept it actually is Like the most popular use in anime is to create easy power fantasy stories when the true appeal is the foreign world itself and how it contrasts with what we know

@NahimanaRaoul genuine insanity that you have one of the coolest concept in all of media, "transported to another world" and almost NOBODY utilize that genre to the fullest it's baffling

The way the villagers and Sasuke treated Naruto is Night and Day even if Sasuke was still harsh you could see why Naruto would gravitate to that. And my Sasuke example happens in chapter 3 of the manga

watching naruto is hard when you don’t particularly care that much about sasuke like why are we doing all this to get him back he is not worth all this

@DoodeBro @Micommania @punchthekeysfgs @nrtsdattebayo the primary flashback of naruto & sasuke occurs during the sasuke recovery mission, it does help give context to why naruto cares so much. Im arguing that I wish there was more shown off of them together before that to help give a better idea of their current bond before that arc

Like this is a matter of two lonely figures being drawn to each other (no narusasu shit tho)

By the time of sasuke retrieval I cared about sasuke a lot but never understood how naruto got so obsessed with him

@ParisPhl Ngl, it’s not bread that’s the problem, it’s milk. It’s either in too small of a box that you run through way before your next grocery trip or a huge jug that half of it will spoil. I can get through a loaf just fine and it’s cheap enough that if a couple slices spoil, who cares.

i watched east blue w my mom recently and i lowkey was harshly reminded how much of a creature luffy was. like in perspective he literally crawled out of a jungle after training for 3 years instead of socializing and u can kinda tell

Luffy during the biggest action moments serves as the anchor that takes on the most dangerous threats his crew cant
