I like how every day Dusk says a different game is getting a remake. Being an insider is basically "guessing all the possibilities until you're eventually right".

RE games are a beautiful thing where the villains are dumb as hell or the story is borderline incoherent and I'm still there like 10/10 game, that shit made no sense. No notes.

@Avaki6 the remake fight is cool but its too straightforward. you can parry him over and over and then poke him a bunch when he's staggered. A fast paced QTE fight with the same professional knife choreography shown before Krause kicks Leon down into the arena would have been awesome

There are people who genuinely believe an actual boss fight that takes advantage of the knife rework is inferior to a QTE cutscene btw

@AestheticGamer1 That would be very silly. At most RE7 needs a remaster that ups the graphics to modern RE standards and updates Chris' model. Maybe an extras menu with a model viewer and stuff.

(2/2) budget & time restraints on the project. There's a lot of scrapped stuff I'd love to see put back in, like the Baker dog stalker, or the cornfield scene put back into the game, as well as more diverse molded monsters & such. Maybe one day.

@AestheticGamer1 RE4R is literally twice the length of Village though, so that's a big margin regardless. Village is the shortest modern RE game after RE3R.

Resident Evil Requiem funnily enough ended up almost precisely where I heard & had been saying for a while length wise, longer than Resident Evil Village but a bit shorter than RE:4.

@AestheticGamer1 Dusk, whats your take on the RE9 ending? While the twist was a nice subversion, it raises too many questions. Like, if Spencer wanted to make amends, why not release Elpis immediately? Or did the Connections gain access to ARK before he could do so? The timeline is tricky
