its genuinely the most 7/10 game of all time, alot i can say about it but almost all of it boils down to "this was done better in the original despite not being bad here", whether its bossfights, area design, general gameplay loop, character design, Saddlers voice direction

@YoungHelghast @Wylderxo Well, trying to double check that lead to a lot of ambiguity. Couldn't find any specific files on it, other than it being explicit that the Los Illuminatos cult had been exiled for generations. The wiki wasn't much help either, other than mentioning it as a rumor:

@antipothis @shitposts_mp4 Played, it finished it twice really. Didn't see the appeal, it was alright but def nowhere near the pedestal people put it in as one of the best games mankind has ever created

@N7Necromorph I agree about Alfred, but I kind of like creepy short old man Salazar more than creepy child wearing a pirate hat Salazar.

The RE: Code Veronica Remake needs to make Alfred Ashford even more unhinged than the original and keep the campy vibe; otherwise, Capcom will ruin one of the series best villains. I don't want them to ruin Alfred like they did Saddler and Salazar in the RE4 remake. #RECVRemake

@shitposts_mp4 I never understood why people love playing as a character that can barely drag their feet while the boss zooms across the boss stage and deals aoe of the entire map. Just go play Nioh and tango with the bosses and demons to the death in a constant flow and flurry of attacks.
