I wish there was some sort of rule that if someone wants to post a dirty hit or embellishment claim, they post every one that took place on their team as well. I am not denying this is embellishment as I think it is, the Wild and Avs just seem to whine and cry over every contact on the ice claiming dirty plays and embellishment (some accurate, some not) while ignoring the 4 or 5 times it happened by one of their players in the same game. I find it disingenuous. If you want to point out embellishment or dirty plays in an NHL game, have the balls to acknowledge that is is happening just as much or more from your side. I think this rule would literally decrease Wild and Av fan posts by as much as 50%

Jamie Benn doing what he does best. If hes not trying to injure other players, he's embellishing. But that fits the Dallas Stars' MO. Play defense and then wait for a power play. Or force one by doing this.

@FauxRoope @TxForever They all do it but denying it is happening with your own team just because the other team is doing it is silly. There are embellishments on both sides happening- everything from an exaggeration to what happened, to faking something that did not happen.

@TxForever Did Jamie exaggerate it… appears so, but Wild fans will ignore that Johansson also whipped his head back when he lifted Robo’s stick in Game 3 and it made contact with the front part of the helmet.

You can clear as day see a stick wack him in the face.. Twitter experts will slow down something that happens at 100mph and think that Jamie Benn should have been aware that it was his own stick somehow as if his stick feels any different hitting his face 😂. Just yapping

I am not the moron, just making fun of the Wild moron fans that were calling for criminal charges earlier this week. I stated in my initial reply the skate to the face was not only unintended, it was unavoidable after Nils made the trip. However, this (unintended/unavoidable) does not prevent moron wild fans from taking these plays and calling for everything from criminal charges to bans from the NHL which of course, is what I am making fun of- their lack of hockey knowledge. Similar to how the Spittin Chiclets crew made a laughing stock out of the self-proclaimed 'state of hockey' being ignorant on something as a simple of what a delay of game is. 🤣 You really need to get to know your fanbase and what they are saying/doing before posting to defend things like this.

Hmmm I actually see Benn starting his theatrics as his stick is being raised and the only possible contact I can see is perhaps to the underside of his arm which I do not even think happened. Looks like embellishment to me. If you take opposition to my facetious attempt to address some of the bullshit Wild fans have been posting, I suggest you check your fanbase a little closer on posting history including those asking for criminal charges for hits 'they' deem unacceptable. I cannot help it if my humor hits too close to home for the Wild fans. As far as your fans not wanting bodily injury and harm to come to Benn, again, check your fanbase post history as there are enough of these comments you should not struggle finding them. And as you seem confused on what my post was actually addressing, nowhere was it suggesting that Mn fans would want this (although if asking, I am absolutely sure some would), I am just just strongly stating that had the uniforms been reversed on this exact play, there would be plenty of Wild fans screaming it was an intentionally dirty play to take out your player, no doubt about this in my mind and you can easily see where I am coming from by spending an hour or so going over comments made by Wild fans this past week.
