For those who are claiming that Biden proclaimed Easter as Transgender day of visibility should first realize that March 31st has been designated that for some time now. March 31 just happens to fall on Easter this year. If you read the text, it says March 31, not Easter Sunday. Plus, much of it is dedicated to expressing care and providing resources for those who might be experiencing forms of violence and discrimination due to their Trans identity - and a lot of attention goes towards suicide prevention. Let’s not spread misinformation people. If Biden was usurping Easter for anything, I’d take issue with it too. If he said, on Easter is whatever day he wanted to make it, I’d have problems too. Holy Week is arguably the most sacred week in the year for me, especially resurrection Sunday. But that is not what he did. The notion of seizing properties owned by the Former President of the United States (and the front runner for President in 2024) - properties belonging to a company that has NEVER missed a payment, never been in default, never breached a covenant, built American skylines, has repeatedly made banks hundreds of millions of dollars while employing THOUSANDS of hard working New Yorkers - is shattering the trust of not just of New York (which is fragile at best) but in the entire legal system in the United States.
