**PARLIAMENTARY INQUIRY ON CVD VAX INJURIES LAUNCHED** It's been five years since COVID-19 changed Canada, and important questions remain as to the impacts of it on Canadians. A special public inquiry is being launched in response to Canadians who say they have experienced vaccine injuries and have yet to receive compensation, despite the creation of a federal support program. At the Parliamentary Press Gallery, Michelle Worton of British Columbia shared her personal testimony about how the vaccine impacted her. I also sat down with Member of Parliament Dean Allison, who is hosting the Allison Inquiry this September, to discuss why the inquiry is being held, what it hopes to accomplish, and how Canadians can participate. In a surprising turn, the Bloc joined the Conservatives, NDP, and Green Party in opposing the motion, but the effort fell a few votes short. Members of Parliament debated until midnight and continued again today. Once the five-hour limit was reached this afternoon, we expected a final vote on C-9. But it didn't happen. That means C-9 is not yet law, and there is still time to make our voices heard. That is mercy. Today, while providing more than seven hours of live coverage, I (Faytene) also made calls whenever I could. Office staff were answering. They were listening. Several assured me they would personally pass the message on to their MP. Friends, this window is still open. If you have been waiting for the right moment to act, this is it. If you have already called, thank you—please call again. If you have been meaning to call but haven't yet, please do it today. History is often shaped by ordinary people who decide that a moment matters and then act accordingly. Let's flood these offices with respectful, thoughtful calls.
