codex and claude code (and openclaw and hermes) are great, if you're a tech snob
most of the world has no idea they exist and they're still difficult to use if you're not tech savvy
gemini spark looks like it could bring this same power to everyone. can't wait to try it.
(and it runs in the cloud, so you don't need a Mac mini lmao)

Gemini Spark is your new 24/7 personal AI agent. Give it a task and it works autonomously in the background, even if your phone and laptop are turned off. You choose to turn it on and it's designed to check with you before taking major actions. #GoogleIO

@adiix_official i'm curious about the $15k/month estimate, what kind of tasks are you assuming the engineers are handling that a local ai setup like this could replace.
English

You could literally:
> Buy a $599 Mac Mini
> Install 5 local AI models
> Train it to sort emails, compress context, work while you sleep
> Let it auto-switch to local when Claude hits rate limits
> Run what 3 engineers do for $15K/month
Why are people still paying for teams?

this OpenClaw bot finds $500k–$1.2M homes without pools, renders a pool into their backyard, and mails the owner a postcard showing the before/after, on autopilot...
here's how pool builders can close $50k+ deals with this system:
- scans satellite imagery for mid-market homes with empty backyards
- filters by lot size, sun exposure & recent ownership change
- pulls the homeowner direct from public records (not shared leads)
- renders a luxury pool dropped into their actual yard
- calculates build cost + home value lift for their specific zip
- generates a cinematic video of their backyard with the new pool
- prints a personalised postcard with the before/after + QR code
- drops it in the mail + hits them with retargeting
every step from sourcing to outreach is automated.
reply "POOL" + RT and i'll send you the full breakdown so you can build this too (must be following so i can DM)

PAPERCLIP IS DUMB
That's the title of this video, but honestly I agree with the author's deepest points
If you are going to use these AI agent systems you must give context and direction, review output, react, and course correct
You must refine the output ("not like this, like this")
I would suggest that Paperclip is the best orchestrator to help with these things because it allows you to learn from your operations as you do your work
You definitely should not create a generic org of 30 agents and set them free on day one - you will pay a coordination overhead and not get good results
But Paperclip is designed to let humans move at agentic speed for work they are accountable for. Eventually you have to scale beyond babysitting a single agent.
But you also have to imbue your values and have a system to learn refinements
So despite the title of the video, I actually appreciate the video and agree with his point
