Alberta had a referendum on equalization payments with majority in favour of ending them. Nothing changed and no one in this election will change the equalization formula. What's the point of democracy if citizens are ignored? Why is the Alberta government not doing anything?

CTV is downplaying the debates. Here’s what I think. Parliament has been shuttered for months, Canadians have never seen Pierre square off with Carney. Pierre is a master at debate, his quick wit and easy smile appear when he’s winning. Carney has a temper and I think Pierre can use that to his advantage. I think the debates are more important this year than ever.
