@killthenoise @ThysNoisia and then something happens.. to you or someone close enough to have some ripple effects down your path as well. i guess patience gives you perspective with life in general. maybe it was all pre-designed or maybe we do have free will but we wont know unless we have some patience

@501dubz @ThysNoisia With all that being said theres a limit to what the human mind can comprehend. Its always been the place we insert god and magic but, look how far we’ve come to understand reality. There’s magic to me in how simple things can be. That we exist, by whatever means brought us to be!

everything about dance music is constantly changing, always has,there isn't time to be upset about trends you don't like cause they don't last very long, right now to me is such a great time, my biggest advice to anyone trying to have a sustainable career is don't get comfortable

@killthenoise @ThysNoisia you definitely need to be in the right company to dip your feet in to a rabbit hole like that. twitter wasnt designed with solving mystery of life in mind but I will say I personally find magic in how life throws us around. the chances you thought you'd never get or even expect

@killthenoise Thats a rational argument and makes all the sense in the world. On the other hand you’d hope there’s some mysticism left underneath. “I speak to gods” was never a compelling argument for why an artist excels but there’s some allure in that idea.

@501dubz its part of it perhaps, although, there are some artists I've never seen perform and am not aware that they have toured at all. burial comes to mind, that has been so inspirational to some. some of that is timing that we can't control.

@killthenoise How much do you think it’s due to touring and “getting out there” vs studio work? I never did the former - and not saying I could’ve to any meaningful extent - but I did have a few good years feeling I was onto something.

@501dubz I’ve been touring and releasing music coming up close to 20 years now in and out of different genres and the only thing that has kept me personally going is having a good group of friends around that like pushing themselves to be better people that’s it

@killthenoise Perhaps it’s just best to start by trying to write something that means something to you. I guess it’s the safest bet of capturing a glimpse of authenticity.

@501dubz Does anyone know when they are listening to or writing timeless music in the moment? Only happened to me a few times once was listening to smells like teen spirit when I was 14 the other was the six flags theme

@killthenoise ...not sure its the trends themselves people are mad about. its more to do with the inevitable irrelevance of their career (artists) or music taste (plebs) that ensues.

@mustdiemusic indeed but the hassle of handling five egos and five schedules was that got me looking elsewhere.. nostalgia tho yes
