@8019_sam We have signed so many midfielders (buy or on-loan) over the last 3-4 years. Too many fillers-players who are non-starters.

Gotta give Michael Carrick some credit. United have one of the worst midfields in the PL, and full-backs who don't get forward and cross, but he's still managed to get us into third place. It is criminal that United never signed a midfielder in the last transfer window.

@1972_rickyb @MUFC__Prince Like you said RB needs replacing desperately. Dalot's 'good days' is another RB's 'bad day' - a complete liability.

How can you expect much change with the same set of players that we all agree at least half need replacing. All that matters right now are results. Midfield is non existent and we need a new RB desperately. I’d also say we need a new CB as De Ligt and Martinez are injury prone and Yoro is awful.

Now that the dust has settled, let’s be honest about Carrick’s football. Yes, the results look good. But outside of that Mancity and Arsenal performance, where is the clear identity? I haven’t seen anything structurally better than what Amorim was building. It’s mostly counter-attacks, moments, and individual quality. And if we’re being honest, that’s the exact formula that fooled us before. That works in short bursts. It doesn’t win leagues and the Champions League unless we are just comfortable qualifying for the Champions League every season. United can’t make the same mistake again - giving a permanent job off a good run without asking bigger questions. We need a coach for the next five years, not just the next five months. If we’re serious about competing in the Premier League and Champions League, vibes won’t be enough.
