@xSalvagedx @TriSvcsVet @ketowithgreg Jamison Greer testified the trade deficit with Canada (noting it grew from $13 billion in 2020 to $61 billion by 2024 under USMCA), non-tariff barriers, and the rationale for new Section 338 tariffs on Canadian goods (e.g., related to alcohol, autos, and dairy).

The bottom line is this: The United States is reviewing all agreements—trade deals, military treaties, military bases and personnel, waterways, airspace, technology transfers, weapons, and more. This new approach is to ensure America is no longer being taken advantage of. It’s nothing personal; it’s just good business sense. It does seem that the two countries with the most at stake in their GDPs are the most upset about America reviewing current and past agreements: Canada and China. The other nations have dropped most, but not all, of their high tariffs, and the U.S. has reciprocated. Again, this is business, not personal—though Carney and some Canadian citizens (not Alberta) are taking it that way. Canada announced they signed on with China, so there are over 4 billion Chinese that you guys can sell to instead of the 350 million Americans. Sounds like a win-win for China and Canada.

@57Speedster356 @ketowithgreg Trump negotiated those terms which we were operating under. You believe Trump when he says he is subsidizing Canada but if you research you will see that Trump is Bluffing, bullshitting, how do you determine what is real?

RECIPROCAL TARIFFS, O CANADA To put it as plain as day: the United States has been allowing Canada’s mountain of one-sided, draconian tariffs for far too long. The President’s Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer, has laid out exactly how many of those tariffs Canada has enjoyed at our expense. The “old friend” bullshit is over. America is building a self-sustaining country that will use its own resources instead of getting ripped off by other nations. Sorry, not sorry. O Canada will soon feel the reciprocal tariff pressure—except for the great province of Alberta, which is getting ready to leave Canada. We are leveling the playing field, so why are you and other Canadians so upset? Is it because Canada has enjoy life through obnoxious one sided tariffs? Be smart and be honest.

@57Speedster356 @ketowithgreg 18K translates to jobs in tourist towns. Add the 18K in the 3.3 billion and that’s a lot of job losses. You can live without Cdns, Europeans and everyone else Trump has attacked and insulted. Trump destroyed world relations with America, you will live with this for generations.

Canada just seized nearly 1.7 TONNES of cocaine and meth smuggled in from the United States. But sure, tell us again how Maduro is the reason America has a drug problem. 😂

Socialism—aka globalism—looks great for the first couple of years… then reality hits and, oops, the bottom falls out. Just look at how the populations are doing in the EU, not to mention Cuba, Venezuela, France, Germany, and other countries. Before the “geniuses” took office, the citizens of those once-great nations actually enjoyed life. Now look at them. That’s exactly what’s about to happen to Canada under Carney. Bookmark this post and check back in 18 months. Canadians, you are being destroyed from within. One province already sees it and is getting out. Be smart, O Canada.

Glad you pointed out which country is the smarter one. Let’s reconnect in, say, two years and see how each of our countries is doing. By the way, a couple of good questions to ask Carney: Why do you hold dual citizenship (British and Canadian), and why does your family live in the U.S.? Hey Darthy, your reply button is somehow disabled...

Somehow you always seem to arrive late to reality. Now—after reading a fact-based, detailed side-by-side comparison—you’re suddenly sounding the alarm?Where were you when Elon Musk was being lied about? You stayed silent. If you truly care about the United States and its future, start spending some of that money on ads, rallies, and seminars.

An important, must read, side-by-side comparison of Mao’s communism and the Democratic Socialist platform. To summarize, the DSA is a grave threat to our democracy.
Insurrection Barbie@DefiyantlyFree

Everybody needs to read this. People keep throwing around the word communism without actually explaining in graphic detail what life in a communist regime entails or how all of these communist regimes started out as moderates. Every single one.

Since becoming Acting Director of National Intelligence, our team has been smartly, and carefully, reducing the size of ODNI, re-focusing ODNI on national security, the law, and the statute. As of this evening, we just finished a 4th round of thoughtful, measured layoffs. Thank you!
