I agree with David Herle on Ian Hanomansing that Carney needs to have the CONVERSATION with danielle and Moe that when the time comes we need to use oil and potash to kick Trump in the parts it hurts because his polling shows canadians want to see Trump hurt.I think hes right.

Danielle Smith didn’t just lower the separation referendum bar. She rebuilt it. The old threshold: 600,000 signatures, 20% of all registered voters. The new threshold: 177,000 signatures, 10% of voters who actually showed up in the last election. That’s not a 50% cut. Swapping the denominator from total registered voters to prior turnout does most of the work. The real reduction is closer to 70%. Do the math on the original rule and separatists are nowhere close to clearing it. It’s only “succeeding” because Smith’s government redefined what clearing it means. Should have saved everyone the fucking time Dani, and just did it from the get go.
