5th graders @CherryLaneES became teachers turning the library into a learning lab for 3rd & 4th graders. The topic: How to write an interesting story. Each group presented tips on how to go deeper into descriptive writing. #PBL #MountiePride #SuffernCentral @DaveGram @egunder

Incredible work done by 5th Gr Ss today! Teaching & presenting to 3rd & 4th Gr Ss about writing. Each group became experts; from hooking the reader, to the importance of using dialogue & vivid language! Students shared their process of learning w/ peers! So powerful! Way to go!

So incredibly proud of my 5th grade scholars for sharing all they know about writing powerful personal narratives with younger CL students. Not only did they teach the 3rd and 4th graders some useful revision strategies, they made some new friends along the way! #bettereveryday

We had a lot of fun today on Crazy Sock Day! The Cherry L’Angels are happy to report that we have collected 500+ pairs of socks so far! Thank you for all the donations from our awesome CL families! There are still 2 weeks left in #Socktober! Please help us reach our goal :)

Today the Cherry L’Angels had a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the start of our annual #Socktober event. It’s only day 1 and we already have over 150 pairs of socks!! Thank you to everyone who donated so far. Together we can make a difference!
