1st grade Tinkering Tigers directed Sphero robots to make collaborative paintings this morning! We studied Jackson Pollock and discussed mixing colors using primary, secondary, warm and cool colors. An exciting way to use our Makerspace Mindset in the Art Room! @CherryLaneES

1st grade Tinkering Tigers used robots to control their paint strokes today! We mixed colors with Sphero robots, talked about strokes and rhythm and made connections to Jackson Pollock.

1st Gr using Fall colors for their wax resist painting. We practiced a couple of artist tricks- choosing the appropriate size brush for the job & watercolor will travel to where the paper is wet! Ss used this knowledge to have purposeful & controlled color blending @CherryLaneES
