We'll continue to monitor the weather on Sunday morning and decide whether to cancel Sunday school for children, youth, and adults. If cancelled, a text message will go out shortly after 7 am on Sunday.

Our culture would be better off if everyone—especially those on the Left—were forced to sit down and read Aquinas’s Treatise on Law. It would recover a distinction that has nearly vanished: the difference between foolish laws, cumbersome laws, ineffective laws, and genuinely unjust laws. Simply disliking a law—immigration law being the current case in point—does not make it unjust. If a just law is not being properly enforced (as reviewed by the citizenry and confirmed by the legitimate authorities through due process), that is a legitimate complaint worthy of serious consideration and revision. The difficulty lies in the fact that our society no longer reasons coherently on what justice actually is or entails. But a just law does not lose its binding authority because it is inconvenient, unpopular, or emotionally charged. Where a law is just and rightfully enacted, it must be enforced and obeyed until citizens, through lawful and legitimate political means, succeed in changing it. This reflects the natural law logic presupposed by Scripture, particularly in Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2: civil authority is ordained by God to secure the common good by rewarding the good, restraining evil, and maintaining just order through rightly enacted and lawfully enforced laws.

Mothers and children rounded up in their homes and sent back to their violence-ridden countries. Cage-like structures built to house migrant families. 56 migrant deaths in ICE custody. 75% of immigrants detained without a judicial warrant. 87% of detainees with legitimate asylum claims.“Record-setting numbers,” ICE director brags. Another ICE agent, Tom Homan, is awarded by the President for his overseeing of deportations. All of this occurred under Barack Obama, the president who still holds the record for deportations. And yet, there were no riots, no one called Obama Hitler or compared ICE to Nazis, and there were no widespread social media campaigns calling for an end to immigration enforcement. Consider that the chaos you’re seeing is manufactured by bad actors for the purpose of weaponizing your compassion for nefarious ends. It’s time to opt out of the madness and start thinking.

This is the most reasonable, factual, & respectful take I’ve heard regarding the Alex Pretti Border Patrol shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Take a few minutes & give it a listen.

Let’s hope and pray that there is a real solution that comes from this. Minnesota needs to have the Chaos end, all people treated with dignity and Law and Order restored.

Thank you @foxandfriends and @GriffJenkins for having me and @jonathanparnell on the show today. @citieschurch and all other churches must be protected from invasion so they can continue to preach the Gospel freely like Pastor Jonathan does faithfully every week in church and like he did on Fox this morning. @doug_wardlow @MNFamilyCouncil

I am horrified. I cannot believe it. I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year. Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America. This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED. A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties. 590 times. I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement. These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.

“I trust God so much that I do not doubt he will provide whatever I need for body and soul, and will turn to my good whatever adversity he sends upon me in this vale of tears. He is able to do this because he is almighty God; he desires to do this because he is a faithful Father.” (Heidelberg, Q26)

I can’t believe I just heard Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison say on CNN that agitators entering a church during worship service is a “First Amendment” protected activity. As an attorney that’s defended constitutional rights, let me be clear: It’s NOT.

The behavior we saw over the weekend with protestors disrupting church services over suspicion of political differences, is absolutely unacceptable. Every leader should condemn this blatant attempt to stifle freedom of speech and religion. Peaceful protest is a part of the foundation of our country -- shutting down a house of worship because you disagree with one of its leaders is not.

Pray for peace to reign in the Twin Cities. As @jonathanparnell shared with me, "They meant evil against us, but God meant it for good." Truth, righteousness, and Christ will prevail.
