We warned that 10,000 millionaires were leaving the UK. We were told it was fake, fear mongering nonsense. “Empty threats!! Rich people won’t leave - they’ll just stay and pay higher taxes!!!!” We said that we were seeing it with our own eyes. We said that it’s easier than ever to move. “Empty threats!!!” They shouted. Now the numbers are in. About 77,000 was the expected number of people to emigrate out of the UK last year. The actual number … 257,000!!! Over 180,000 more than expected.
