LIV has not been able to secure Fox telecasts for all weekend rounds, but have done relatively well when they are on there. PGAT is connected to CBS/NBC/ABC (through ESPN), and GC. There are other leagues but they aren’t as big and less money in the secondary pro leagues. That’s just pro sports anywhere.

@shakehoops I could have done either but picked juco in the early 90s. It was littered with D1 guys that were ineligible. Ben Wallace was in our conference. So it was an easy choice for me. Better competition and 100% tuition covered at juco while d3 got ZERO money.

D3 or JUCO? As a former D3 athlete I can relate to kids not wanting to go D3 at first… but that’s basically all because of perception. The truth is D3s have some of the best schools in the country. This is also a regional topic because a kid in Texas is probably more likely to go JUCO than a kid from New England where we grow up on D3 being around. Would love to hear you guys thoughts!

@shakehoops Let’s see, $2,500 a year at Juco and playing your sport and chance to move on or a $35,000 D3 school you have never heard of. Pretty easy decision to me. My son went Juco then D1. Best decision financially and growth wise. No brainer!

@Kswing6 @shegone03 I kind of understand baseball. It paid for my college. He could lose 40lbs and still couldn't hit his weight this year! Keep looking at your charts and graphs but they won't make him a better hitter.

If you understand baseball, you understand if he continues to hit as he did last year, and has so far this year, the results with improve vastly. He is hitting the ball hard, and continuing to walk a fair share. I'd be more concerned that his defense, while it looks a little better than last year, has definitely slipped.

@ColbyBlair83 @nut_history If you have ever played on turf, slide spikes down and your ankle is in pieces. Have seen it happen!!! How about not straddling the bag on a force out.

@nut_history Watched it 10 times. Not egregious, but the runner did come in spikes up and got 3rd baseman on the ankle which looked intentional. On top of that, made no attempt to touch the base. The 3rd baseman is gonna survive, but not a great look for the runner.

@shegone03 @MLB I lived and breathed baseball since I was 4 or 5 years old. I have not watched a game since COVID since all the rules changes, bullshit analytics, strikeouts and starting pitchers throwing a few innings. They've turned the game from a runway model to a transvestite overnight.
