the transfer portal opens in a few weeks. last year 3,200+ players entered the portal and never showed up in NCAA data again. not because they weren't good enough. because nobody saw them. don't let that be you. 64Analytics Player Portal Match gets you in front of coaches before your window closes.

We've gotten a wave of beta requests today. For those who have requested, we will be providing a discount; however, we've ended the beta after some really insightful feedback. We'll be going live here soon.

a lot of players have DM’ed us asking about our new transfer portal tool. I figured I’d create a post to fully explain. when you create a 64 Analytics Player Profile, you are building a verified profile inside an analytics ecosystem coaches already trust. the problem with a lot of the other recruiting platforms is that they are not part of the coaches’ actual evaluation process. over 400+ college programs already use 64 Analytics daily to evaluate players, and identify transfer portal talent. that’s what makes this different. your profile combines: - your 64 Analytics rankings - your NCAA stats - your academics - your athletic testing - your ball flight reports - your highlight videos - your physical measurements - your personal story instead of blindly entering the portal and hoping the right school sees you, you can claim your profile, verify your identity with your school email, answer the recruiting questionnaire, and see your best program matches. coaches already use our 64 Analytics software to find transfer players. your player profile helps you control the narrative. better data for coaches. more control for players. clearer fits for both sides. at first, we opened this to a limited group of NCAA athletes. we have now decided to release it to the public.

@lsu_capital It's a formula that utilizes game score. Game score is a formula that adds value to players is they go a certain IP. Because of this, his GS, on average was 51.2.

if you’re entering the transfer portal, claim your player profile today and take control of your future. you can build everything in private and keep your profile hidden until your decision is public. #early-access" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">64analytics.com/player-profile…

@64Analytics It’s really cool and definitely worth diving in and checking out. Yeah definitely not trying to pick a fight just fun to go back and forth and see further how you guys think your model! What goes into the efficiency metrics you guys created?

@ChopCoastal Trust me, you have been cordial. We'll never try to convey this is the "right" way, just a fun side project when our main thing is roster management support.

@ChopCoastal Best compute ranking 1-(17/308) = 94.5% Worst computer ranking 1-(29/308) = 90.5% At worst just beyond margin of error. The only formula that's known is RPI; the others, no idea. But, they're all within the realm of expectations.

@64Analytics My issue remains: Overlapping inputs, arbitrary equal weighting, and noisy college stats = rankings that can get weird fast. I think it does a lot well but I think the above issues skew rankings in an unrealistic way

We're the only one who does, and we say it all the time: - 1/4 data: r/pa, ops, woba, xfip, whip, a-ops - 1/4 SOS: use NCAA SOS to remain unbiased - 1/4 Efficiency metrics - wRCE & wRAE (spin on Bill James RC formula but utilized starting points from player, opponent, and division) - 1/4 ELO

@64Analytics And you over value scheduled quirks and efficiency metrics IMO although it’s hard to say when you don’t publish your ranking formula. I’m all for use of analytics- but something is wrong when your model consistently is so far off other ranking systems and models
