My email inbox is so full it's stopped receiving & sending messages. I've just spent an hour deleting massive files & 10k unread emails, dating back to 2008. But I also found messages from my lovely friend Cherry, who died five years ago. Can't bring myself to delete those 💔

@LauraParkerUX @paulmsmith When I first moved into content design, I was amazed that everyone was so comfortable with using professional jargon themselves, yet criticising it in ‘copy’. They saw no hypocrisy. Thanks for calling it out. I have also seen this jargon used to alienate people intentionally!

We watched the last @bbclookeast broadcast from the Cambridge studio. I have such happy memories of working there in a team which built many great careers. Well done everyone. I’m so sorry for you (and the region).

Flag flying at half mast @Newnham_College for the funeral of Honorary Fellow Joyce Reynolds, at which @wmarybeard paid tribute. Lovely to see many former students at the service and at the gathering in Clough Hall afterwards; lots of stories exchanged.
