90s Tatsuyuki Tanaka is one of my all-time favourite animators and his work in GLR is a big part of that. I prefer this period when he drew simpler and snappier over his later more fluid Toujin Kit-style stuff.

@oldmanbayin Western animator here. Even in school we asked "isnt this just animating instead of boarding?" And we are told this is the standard expectation. Minutes of boards this quality due in days sometimes is exhausting
