I will say about Keaton Wagler, think my favorite fit for him might be in Dallas. He’s the type of player that would benefit greatly learning all of the nuances from Kyrie Irving, while being able to play in between Irving/Flagg in the short term, long term being the PG.

And with the 2 year lottery record rule, teams can't easily tank and reset for 1 year, so either you find your foundation pieces now, or you rush things and end up always being mid Plus Awa is genuinely special

@ForGoodAri @WNBAStormChaser I agree because Guard Big combo works to win titles. Plus this team isn't close to contending yet also people forget with 2 new teams coming in it make it even harder to make playoffs so long term processing is best to make sure a Paige led team can win multiple titles

@Frank_5599 @pandahank41 Melo is the most best/important player on that team and it isn't close. I'd argue that BMiller is the second best player with his awesome shot making at high volume Kon is in the PERFECT position to catch and shoot and be guarded by lesser defenders. And he's an AWESOME shooter!

Michael Carter-Williams won ROTY shooting 41/26/70 on a 19-win team but now efficiency & winning are the only two things that matter I'm so sure. All rookies who averaged 20/6/4 had won the award but Cooper Flagg doing it as the youngest player in the league won't I'm so sure.

Draft takes from last night: - I would be in on Yaxel top 10 to the Mavericks if he didn’t remind me so much of PJ, who’s already a clunky fit next to Coop. Can excuse his age with his unique story (same with Stirtz) - I can’t figure out how to rank the 5-10 range of Mikel, Philon, Kingston, Burries, Wagler, and Acuff. Going to be a tough decision if the Mavs don’t jump in lottery. Philon seems to give me the most security, while Mikel is the home run swing. - Philon performance last night was special, basically played 1 v 5 vs an imposing Michigan squad. It is absurd the offensive leap he made this year. PG1?🤔 - If you’re worried about Mikel’s back/inconsistency, or Kingston’s jumper, or Acuff’s defense, or Wagler’s athleticism.. just take Philon or Burries and get ready for the OKC pick - Boozer has to develop an in between game. It can’t just be paint shots or 3s at the next level, even though those are the best shots. Teams will take that away if he’s that predictable - Hope a team drafting in front of us saw what Nate Ament did vs a great Iowa State defense
