@MichaelVitaleJr If they get a lot of rebound seasons, I guess so.
Ronald Acuna, Austin Reilly. Ozzie Albies, Michael Harris, Matt Olsen, Drake Baldwin, Sean Murphy is pretty solid

How can Baltimore be ranked #1 ?
Don’t they know the Mets have the immortal Jorge Polanco ? 😳
BetMGM 🦁@BetMGM
Do not sleep on the Orioles lineup

For once my wife enjoyed watching baseball with me!
At one point she asked if Tommy Cutlets was on the team 😀

Such a special group. Millions of people watched us from Italy over the past few days. That’s always been and always will be the goal, to the keep growing the game. Thank you everyone for all the support. Forza Italia! 🤌🇮🇹❤️

@tedreednc Bringing on Soto limited other necessary moves they should have made, like bringing in better starting pitching and a decent CF.
And this winter’s knee-jerk reaction to a bad season was to dump 3 of their best players & replace them with lesser talent - a head scratcher.
English

@70sBaseball I hated to see Alonso go but that is not on Soto, who is about to have a monster year.
I hope our overrated GM made the right guesses on pitching this year and atones for his screwup last year.
Otherwise he’s gone
English

THE reason the Mets went from an NLCS appearance to also-rans was believing it was a good idea to give this clown a billion dollars.
And then as a follow-up, cast away home grown, blood and guts,
hustling, thoughtful, humble team icons to ‘change the culture’.

"We showed the world who's the best team in baseball. That's all I got to say." - Juan Soto, after his Dominican Republic team lost to Team USA
English

@strach65 Yea from what I read Machado didn’t care for him as a teammate.
Neither did Judge.
English

@70sBaseball same same with the padres thankfully without the billion dollars
English

@vcavanguard He was productive, but the starting pitching they ignored to afford his contract did them in.
English

@70sBaseball Soto wasn't their problem. It was garbage starting pitchers. They should have brought back Alonso or Diaz TBF.
English

@TolleEnthusiast Even as a Mets fan I like your thinking.
But let’s face it- McLean or Joe Ryan should be more than enough to beat vastly inferior Venezuela or Italy teams.
And I think the bats are due for a big break-out.
English

@LuisSeverino94 You pitched tough!
Mets should have held on to you !
English

@AB202281146189 @DMAC_LA Operation shut down once they have the big bucks
English

@70sBaseball @DMAC_LA Rarely do already paid latin guys sustain success. Exhibit A right here. They already made it in their mind.
English

@OleTimeHardball I’d give the ball to Gibson and get out of his way. Will save Koufax to close if needed
English

By scoring 1 run all night. Got it.
Was nice seeing those guys run hard on the bases for a change because most of them dog it during the MLB season.

Juan Soto after losing to Team USA in the WBC, via @JeffPassan: "We showed the world who's the best team in baseball. That's all I got to say."
English

@OleTimeHardball Correct - Gehrig used to hit .360 w power so should always hit 3 or 4.
Other notes - it’s getting to the point where Judge has to be in over Reggie. Also I’d like to see some speed and bat control at the top of Boston lineup. Nomar and Boggs 1-2 would be great table setters
