Unfortunately it is starting to feel this way. I am reluctant to go for a soft fork. But ever since taproot, core devs have been corrupting Bitcoin as money, and now we have our backs against the wall. If someone else sees another option, I would love to hear it.

Five days ago, a 97KB AI generated porn video made it into a MARA block. I am positive this would have been rejected if submitted via Slipstream. It sailed right through due to being relayed around the p2p network via Core 30 nodes instead. This is *exactly* what I was warning about. "It was always possible anyway" was the most infuriatingly dishonest argument in favour of large OP_RETURNs containing filth. Because for all intents and purposes, it wasn't.
