Just went through #Eagles’ second half pass offense. As expected, a bunch went wrong. Todd Bowles only sent more than 4 rushers once. It was otherwise all simulated pressures with 4 or 3 men. There were a few that weren’t picked up, but Jalen Hurts had clean pockets, and either missed throws or left early. Were there guys running wide open and he had all sorts of time in the pocket? No. Could there have been more built-in answers, like there were in the first half, when he needed to get the ball out? Yes. Were there some head scratching calls? Yes. Will Shipley on third down? But this was a much different Hurts than in the second half of the Rams game and the first half vs. the Bucs. Bowles’ pass defense adjustments confounded the Eagles, and the lack of a run game increasingly made it difficult on all parties.

Actually, upon further review of NFL bylaws (Article XVII, Section 17.4(C)), since CJGJ is a vested veteran not subject to waivers and played only 3 games with the Texans, the Eagles can't re-sign him as a free agent until two seasons pass. Confirmed by NBC Sports and CBS reports.

Based on NFL rules, yes, that's correct. A traded player can't return to their original team until two seasons elapse unless they've been on the assignee club's (or beyond) active/inactive list for at least 4 games.
