In March 2021, David Davis stood up in the Commons and dropped some serious whistleblower evidence. He revealed text messages pulled from SNP Chief Operating Officer Sue Ruddick’s phone (which Police Scotland had). They showed Peter Murrell, the SNP’s then-CEO and Sturgeon’s husband, actively coordinating with Ruddick and compliance officer Ian McCann to manage and encourage complaints against Alex Salmond. The messages paint a pretty grim picture: “fishing” for more complainants even after the police investigation was underway, McCann moaning that a batch of five potential complainants “came up empty,” and talk of hoping one woman would get “sickened enough to get back in the game” and be keen to see Salmond “go to jail.” There were also references to creating more “fronts” for Salmond to fight and pressurising detectives. Ruddick herself sounded worried about it coming out that they’d been fishing. Davis said it all added up to a concerted effort to damage Salmond and push him out of public life and that the texts gave a strong prima facie case for collusion. This story barely got the attention it deserved at the time. #SNPOUT
ScotNews@indyscotnews

Sturgeon blasted “Alex Salmond and his ‘cronies' as being part of 'old boys' club' peddling conspiracy theories…” “The messages suggest that SNP Chief Executive, Peter Murrell, coordinated Ruddick and lan McCann, the SNP's compliance officer, in the handling of specific complainants.”

🚨 The Hidden Cost of Recent Migration – Made Simple The state pension and triple lock debate is everywhere right now — but almost no one is talking about one of the biggest reasons the system is under pressure: the real, long-term cost of the post-2021 non-EU migration surge. Governments keep saying “migration fixes our ageing population and pays for pensions.” But the numbers (from their own sources — ONS, HMRC, Migration Advisory Committee, OBR) tell an entirely different story. Here’s the plain-English version, no geeky spreadsheets: - Child Benefit alone has increased because many recent arrivals came via family routes or low-wage care visas and have higher average family sizes. We’re looking at an extra £1.2–1.8 billion a year just on this one benefit — that’s real money coming straight out of the same pot that funds pensions and the NHS. - Asylum hotels and support are still costing £4 billion+ annually (even after the small drop from the 2023 peak). - Add in extra pressure on housing, schools, NHS and other welfare (disability, housing benefit etc.) from the population increase — another £5–10 billion a year to keep services at the same level per person. - Then there’s the money leaving the country: remittances sent home total £9–10 billion a year across the UK, with a big chunk from the exact nationalities that dominated the recent wave (India, Pakistan, Nigeria etc.). That’s earnings and taxes that never recirculate here. Total direct hit? £10–15 billion+ every single year from the legacy of that 2021–2023 surge ALONE — and it keeps adding up. The Migration Advisory Committee’s own 2025 report is blunt: - Asylum and refugee routes = net negative for public finances over a lifetime. - Family/partner routes and low-wage visas = big lifetime deficits (average £109k per person in some cases). - Even “skilled” routes become negative once dependants arrive. This is the same pattern we’ve seen with pensions: governments sold us one story (“migration will pay for your pensions and NHS”), quietly changed the rules and the numbers, spent the money, then act surprised when the bill arrives. We all remember the old social contract — one parent could often stay home with the kids, native birth rates were stable, and the system balanced. Now two parents scrape by and can’t afford children, while generous welfare rules and open-door policies (turbo-charged under Blair and continued since) have produced higher fertility in some migrant groups and added huge pressure on the very NI Fund that pensioners paid into. How we actually fix it (practical steps): Short term – stop the bleeding: - End or revoke Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) for recent high-dependency arrivals who haven’t contributed enough. Start deporting foreigners that don’t contribute. - Cut wasteful spending first: asylum hotels, foreign aid, Net Zero subsidies, welfare bloat that drains the NI Fund. Long term – make migration work for Britain: - Shift to a points-based system that only lets in high-contributors with no dependants until they’ve paid in properly. - Phase in proper individual NI accounts (Singapore CPF style) so future contributions actually grow instead of being spent the day they arrive. - Ring-fence the National Insurance Fund properly — no more treating it as a slush fund for whatever the government of the day wants. Stop pretending every migrant is a net positive. The data shows the post-2021 wave was different in scale and composition — more family-forming, lower employment, higher welfare take-up. That’s why the worker-to-retiree ratio never improved as promised, and why the pension pot feels emptier. Honour the promises made to people who already paid in. Fix the incentives. Protect the system for the next generation instead of repeating the same deception. What other hidden costs or fixes have you spotted? Drop them below — this conversation matters. #MigrationCosts #StatePension #DeceptionByGovernment

I’m protesting outside the Ministry of Justice against the potential downgrading of Henry Nowak’s alleged murderer’s charges to manslaughter. This is two-tier justice at its worst in Keir Starmer’s Britain. I stand for truth, justice, and fairness, and so should you. RIP Henry.

A fearless nun who rescued Christian and Yazidi slaves from ISIS in Syria made a direct and uncomfortable statement: “ISIS is Islam. Islam is ISIS.” After witnessing the horrors firsthand, she accused the Western world of protecting Islam’s false image as a “religion of peace,” while ignoring the genocide and enslavement of non-Muslim minorities across the Muslim world. She argues that the West must stop defending this ideology and start protecting the people who are actually being persecuted. Her words are hard to hear, but they come from someone who saw the reality up close.

Street survey in London! We’re asking people if they know the story of Henry Nowak, who was brutally killed. The police accused him of racism, he was wrongfully handcuffed. There is no outrage, no protests, and no media coverage. Isn't it weird?

This is CCTV photo of Lee Pomeroy a dad that's was travelling from Guilford to London with his 14 year old son , a row broke out with the other one pictured sitting down David Pencille when he blocked the aisle moments later Pencille stabbed Lee in front of his son 18 times in a frenzied attack and left him to bleed out and die at Horsley station in front of horrified passengers , this was one day before the dads 52nd birthday . Of course Pencille tried to deny the murder and said it was self defence but thankfully justice served as the jury all agreed to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 28 years , all very well but it doesn't bring the loving father and husband back in my mind .Very sad and proves our country is no longer safe for anyone

Thomas Paine Hotel in Thetford refused to take a single illegal migrant. The owners stood firm and said no to the taxpayer-funded migrant gravy train. It’s a beautiful, traditional British hotel — and it deserves all the support it can get. Well done to them for putting British people first. Give them your business. 🇬🇧

Honestly I’m very amused people think Andy Burnham is the great reformer from outside the system. He’s been THE SYSTEM for over 25 years right inside the machine…. Researcher, special adviser, MP, cabinet minister, Health Secretary, Shadow Home Secretary and Mayor. He aligns perfectly with the global governance consensus, it’s all there… Net Zero on acid, regional technocratic governance, green energy nonsense economics, managed migration, anti-fracking, “inclusive growth” and pro EU, all from the same worldview promoted by the UN, WEF, NGOs and corporate ESG structures. He doesn’t want to change the system. He IS the system 🤡

"Well Josh, did your Mum happen to mention that she'll be able to save £1.64 on the family entry to Legoland during the summer"? "Yes Mr Starmer, and she asked me pass on her thanks. She told me to tell you she plans to take us twice in the holidays. That way she'll save over £3 which will be enough to buy a can of coke for us all to share". "That's marvellous Josh. I'm happy to help".

I am under attack for saying Labour’s claims about getting immigration under control are fake. Because they are fake. The situation is horrendous, much worse than people know. Hundreds of thousands of rejected illegal migrants are still here. Deportations are a tiny fraction.

The funniest maths in modern environmentalism. One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled. The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy. Meanwhile, in Cheshire. A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain. She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco. To recap. 600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water. Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food. The shopper picks the almond. She has been told this is the ethical position. The aquifer would like a word.

The asylum system is a giant con trick on the public. Illegal migrants from Afghanistan and Eritrea cannot be rejected. If any appeal is refused applicants make “further submissions” which take years. Known sex offenders are granted asylum.

This is the kind of medieval savagery that mass immigration has imported into once-safe European countries like Sweden. A Swedish teenage girl was gang-raped for hours by a group of immigrants. They forced a gun into her mouth, then repeatedly inserted it into her vagina. When it was over, her clothes were soaked in so much blood that doctors said they had never seen anything like it. Video and photo evidence shared by @isaacrrr7 shows the blood-stained clothing that belonged to this poor child. This isn’t some isolated crime — it’s the direct, predictable result of decades of open borders and zero integration. Sweden, once one of the safest nations on earth, now has no-go zones, exploding sexual violence statistics, and grooming patterns that were unheard of before the mass arrival of men from cultures that treat Western girls as fair game. This horror did not exist before mass immigration. And it keeps happening because politicians refuse to admit the obvious cultural clash and instead smear anyone who notices as “racist.” British parents, take note. This is what happens when you import large numbers of men who bring attitudes that clash violently with Western values of respect and consent. Our daughters are not collateral damage in some failed multicultural experiment. We must protect our girls at all costs. Secure the borders. Deport the predators. Put British (and European) daughters first — always.
