daa can confirm it will appeal the disappointing decision by planners to refuse permission for the demolition of the no-longer-required spirals located beside Terminal 1. The spirals, which historically provided vehicular access to a now obsolete upper-level car park, need to be removed to deliver a better Dublin Airport for our passengers and to allow for the upgrading of Terminal 1.

🔴 Japan Airlines retired its Boeing 777-300ER from Tokyo/Haneda–London/Heathrow operations on January 1, 2025. The final JL43 and JL44 flights carried 211 and 244 passengers respectively. The 777 is now replaced by Airbus A350-1000s on JL43/44 and Boeing 787-8s on JL41/42.
