The word “democracy” doesn’t appear once in the Constitution.
Not once.
Madison, Jefferson, and Adams didn’t just avoid the word — they condemned pure democracy.
The Pledge of Allegiance says “the Republic.” The Civil War’s anthem was the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
The Founders studied history. They knew unchecked majority rule was mob tyranny.
So they built something different.
The Electoral College. The presidential veto. A two-thirds threshold to override it. A Constitution explicitly designed to be anti-majoritarian.
The rules exist to protect you from 51% of your neighbors deciding your rights don’t matter today.
How many Americans know that’s what they’re actually living under?

Who are these two men? They are Marcus Harvey and Tre Jones from Marion, Indiana. They should have been all over the news but they weren't... Some time ago they saw a house fully engulfed in flames with people still inside. So they kicked in the front door and risked their own lives to save the occupants inside. None of the occupants would still be alive if it wasn’t for them. Neither one gave a second thought about anybody’s color, they just did what was right. These are the heroes the media tends to not show us.

PG&E was convicted of 6 federal felonies in 2016.
They were still serving their sentence when Gavin Newsom took over $200,000 from them.
A reporter asked him about it to his face.
Newsom called it “a strange question” and pivoted to utility policy.
The reporter asked again. And again.
“Will you give the money back?”
No answer.
Six federal felony counts. Two hundred thousand dollars. The governor of California had no answer.
Let’s hope JD Vance gets answers.

Jose Medina-Medina, the 26-year-old Venezuelan man accused of killing 18-year-old Loyola student Sheridan Gorman in cold blood, was robbed, beaten and shot in the head in 2018 in South America. There’s bullet fragments in his brain and a portion of a skull is missing. He is now developmentally delayed, has the education of a seven-year-old, and can’t read and write.
Prosecutors say they have overwhelming evidence of his guilt: video that shows him in a mask, gloves, and dark clothes, hiding behind a lighthouse on Lake Michigan, and shooting Gorman in the back, killing her almost instantly.
He had no connection whatsoever to Gorman.
