Today is national middle name pride day. Mine is Warren. So was my dad's and so is my son's. It was my grandmother's maiden name and supposedly traces all the way back to 11th Century Normandy. My dad is gone and my son lives far away but we'll always have our name.

also, music teacher took it upon herself to tell 8 that she 4 was bad in class and she messaged their mom and… i just feel like that’s inappropriate and i kinda wanna fight the music teacher now.

me: got a call from the music teacher… husband: 10’s teacher? (nope) 8? (nope) SIIIX???! (nope) FOUR?!! not 4. no way. yep. 4 is too tired for music class. 🙄
