🚨MUOS 🚨👀 As we are doing $ASTS charts. Point And Figure says $67 short term (on this launch runup). And that this is due to the large sign of strength that resulted in the jump across the creek. What was resistance is now support. Time to go to the next trading range! 🫎

$ASTS Big event coming for the company with their earnings release and management call. Awkwardly the events are split across two different days, so it's hard to know exactly what they will announce on each/which day. That leads to some uncertainty and will make trading and price action rather choppy. If there's good (bad) news on Monday, does the market rally (tank) immediately, or fear bad (good) news coming the following day? Hopefully they're very forthcoming with information on Monday instead of leaving the market in limbo. I'm predicting a shift in the tone of their messaging/operations (I touched on this with my last Superbowl commercial commentary). I think that for the first time in history, the company has a chance to be on the offensive instead of the defensive*. They have regulatory, operational, partner, and financial (cash) tailwinds that can propel them. Given that the company has made exceptionally good strategic decisions** up until now, I have a good feeling they'll make the right "course adjustment" here. What does that look like? It can take a lot of different forms but ultimately it means moving faster, stronger, better, more aggressively and confidently. The Ligado spectrum deal was already a version of that, but I'm sure there's lots more in their back pocket. You'll know it if you see it. Currently my fund has a 7% weighting in the stock, no substantial options positions. I think the market is ready to rerate ASTS in the coming months with obtainable commercialization milestones within reach. Institutional investors should start getting more comfortable with the company as the MNO's talk up their revenue color and capex cost savings stories. (* To elaborate on what I mean, up until 10 months ago, ASTS was genuinely at risk of bankruptcy. If they made a $50-$100m mistake/delay, it very possibly ends the company. Today, they have ~$1B in cash, they could make a $200m mistake, and still be in perfectly good shape. No, obviously you don't want them to make that mistake, but it means they can invest in riskier/more aggressive decision making. I.e. they were playing with "scared money" before, that's no longer the case). (** I should point out that they've made some questionable fundraising decisions in the past that I've heavily criticized them for).
