What an incredible day of baseball for our 8-1-3 teams. Bloomingdale and Tampa Catholic battled in Tampa baseball's brightest stage. With the Bulls winning back-2-back Saladino Titles. 1/3

B7: Leadoff aboard for TC as Jack Smythe walks. But Bulls turn two Another BB, but @osting_vaughn ends the game fielding a comebacker and throwing out. Bloomingdale is the back-2-back #Saladino26 Champions Bulls win 2-0 over Tampa Catholic.

BIG FLY! @JJSantiago08 GOES YARD to rightfield for a key insurance run. Bloomingdale lead is 2-0 in the top of the 7th.

B6: A HUGE play on a weakly chopped ball in front of the plate by Bloomingdale pitcher @osting_vaughn for third out. Ostin has pitched 3 scoreless innings of relief, 1 H, 1 BB, 4 K.

T6 (cont): BIG strikeout for Christian Serralles strands a pair in scoring position. Bloomingdale holds a 1-0 lead on Tampa Catholic

Like them old Tribune days (thats a newspaper kids - they were a thing). Hanging with my former colleague and lifelong friend @AdamAdkins16 out for the ‘Dino.

B4: Perez is done on the mound; he’s replaced by @osting_vaughn. @colebitman with a single smacked off the pitchers glove, but Osting erases the runner catching a squeeze bunt on the fly and doubling off the runner. A BB but nothing else. Bulls up 1-0

B3: Bulls SP @Isaiah_bsb2026 is dealing. He’s struck out 5 to just one walk. Bloomingdale up 1-0 on Tampa Catholic.

T3 (cont): Crusaders 3B Torey Thomas with highlight-reel sliding catch in foul territory to strand the runners. Bulls up 1-0

T3: @braxtonwilken25 lines a 1-out single to LC. After a 2nd out; Cesar Campos bounces a hit into left. Two on, two outs for the Bulls.

B2 (cont): after a K; Brown steals 3rd; but a fly ball to Bulls RF Evan Plusquellic for an out and TC runner is too far off and Plusquellic fires to first for an inning-ending double-play. Big play for Bdale, head scratcher for the Saders.

B2: Blake Brown works nine pitch walk to become Tampa Catholic’s first base runner of the night off Bloomingdale SP Izzy Perez. Jayden Mera grounds back to the mound reaches on a fielder’s choice as Perez can’t make the throw to second. Two aboard to start for the Crusaders.
