This will also inevitable lead to sex testing of all women, which is also discriminatory. This is a major step back for sports.

The UCP: We have to run a deficit this year, we just don’t have the funds cover all the expenses. Also the UCP: $90 Million for private schools!!!! The most corrupt, nihilistic, “take but never give” government I’ve ever seen in this country

According to the @FraserInstitute, average per-student funding in Canada is $16,579. When Danielle Smith complains that immigrant students cost $12,000 a year, she’s admitting she’s underfunding every child’s education to the tune of $4,500 every year. #abed #abpoli #cdnpoli

Alberta is launching an "Alberta-approved immigrant" system to match skilled workers with jobs and offer a path to permanent residency. Premier Smith says temporary residents currently cost taxpayers $6K/adult for healthcare and $12K/child for education, or $500M each year.

The great thing about the Canadian TV coverage of the Olympics is you can see it all. Some outlier sport with zero Canadians in this heat? You can find it, watch in its entirety, in real time. It's an exceptional level of professionalism respect for these incredible athletes.

This is officially day 90 since a rare, progressive cranial growth was found in in my brain, severely impacting my speech, eating & motor skills. Cummings School of Medicine at U of Calgary says brain lesions require assessment within 10 days… I’m officially in day 90. I’ve been turned away from ERs (as recent as 12/26) and I’m warning @ABDanielleSmith, @real_jtwright, @AdrianaLaGrange, @mattjonesYYC what happened at Grey Nuns in Edmonton will happen to me next. Want to signal to Alberta that you mean business? Start with me. I need neurosurgical evaluation THIS WEEK.

Nenshi - So are you messing with recall or what's the deal? Smith - Yeah, we're making some changes on Thursday, but what I really want to talk about is how much the NDP hurt the coal companies. For real. That was her pivot. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

To even threaten it during negotiations tells every Albertan exactly what this government thinks of the Charter: that it’s optional. That rights are conditional. That democracy is only valuable when it’s obedient. And that should terrify you.

Today, @NateHornerAB said that “we can’t afford to be an outlier”. However, Alberta’s education system is already an outlier: ☑️ Lowest per-student funding across Canada and the USA ☑️ Highest student to teacher ratio in the country ☑️ Most stressed teachers on Earth #abpoli

I heard @NateHornerAB compared teachers' ask of funding that matches the national average to "asking for the moon". Imagine thinking an "average" amount of funds for "average" class sizes and "average" supports is unreasonable. How can any parent accept their child deserves less?
