@gamesyouloved A long time ago, I pawned my Game Gear and all my games to have enough money to take a girl out on a date.
We've been married for almost 32 years now :)

I think the new chunk-based water simulation is almost done! Still need to deactivate stale chunks & update the lower LODs, but the base sim works perfectly now, integrated with water bodies created by the world generator.

@KaeleyT @PaulTripp Anger is a huge red flag for me. When I’m angry, I’m usually selfish.

@TynanSylvester What about emotional sense? This doesn't seem 1:1 with "thoughts". One's own emotional response + felt emotional estimation of others.
English

The idea of 5 senses is so wrong. We have at least 14.
sight
hearing
taste
smell
touch
temperature
hunger/satiety
thirst
thoughts - you can tell what you are thinking
proprioception - position of your body
nociception - damage detection
muscle fatigue - tired muscles and lactic acid buildup
acceleration - via the inner ear, used for balance
CO2 - your lungs detect carbon dioxide directly to make you breathe
A likely more I haven't even thought of.

@sbc_sdg @Soteriology101 It hasn't had that effect on me. I fear that "L" is limited glory. Will you afford me the mystery that Jesus died for all? (Although I do not consider it a mystery)
English

@Soteriology101 It’s truly sad how with smooth speech you absolutely mock and malign those that trust God in the mystery.
“Provisionism” looks more like a first step in leaving the faith, than anything else.
You praise those who save themselves with “reason”, mock those that have faith. Sad.

This 👇🏼 is why some people remain Calvinistic. They can’t comprehend that God could know a future happening that He Himself doesn’t cause.
You don't have to understand HOW
God foreknows the future free choices of creatures to believe
THAT He knows the future free choices of creatures any more so than you have to understand HOW
He made something from nothing in order to believe THAT He made something from nothing.
Only appeal to a mystery that the Bible affords. There is no uncertainty about His character or abilities so instead of adopting a system that undermines His character by saying He determines evil) or His ability by saying He can't foreknow free choices) let's just humbly admit we don't know HOW He does it while believing THAT He does.

Symptoms of false leaders and those who tolerate them.
“For you bear it if someone makes slaves of you, or devours you, or takes advantage of you, or puts on airs, or strikes you in the face.”
2 Corinthians 11:20 ESV
1. They make slaves of you. They treat their followers and staff as less than them. Servants to be ordered and slaves to fulfill expectations.
2. They devour you. You are a means for their self-gratification, self-exaltation, financial gain, and it doesn’t matter how much this hurts you. You exist to fill their appetites.
3. They take advantage of you. This seems to often take the form of them pretending they are blessing you when actually they are merely manipulating you to do stuff for them, such as giving them money. Again, you are a commodity to them.
4. They put on airs. That is, they puff themselves up. They boast. They talk about themselves as if they are super Christians. Sometimes masters of the humble brag and often just bragging. Going on about amazing stuff they have been part of. Story after story and rhetorical posturing that turns them into elites in the eyes of their followers.
5. They strike you in the face. They abuse their own people. Especially when those people ask hard questions or start to see the issues their leadership has. They berate, accuse, slander, lie about, or otherwise turn the tables on anyone who might challenge them.
Of course, Paul’s major issue in this passage in 2 Corinthians 11 is not just identifying the false leaders. It’s highlighting the craziness of the fact that the Corinthians put up with them!
My point is that we must refuse to put up with such leaders. Scripture empowers us to stand against them and straight up heaps embarrassment on those of us who won’t.
