@BenCampb_ They use the Bible when it’s convenient because they want an excuse to hate. Evangelicals want to be the center of attention/marginalized so badly that they try to convince everyone they’re persecuted for a widely accepted religion. Just general xenophobia disguised as faith

@chrismithunc I agree with you about the decision to go Walker over Glauber. But I really think the mistake was pulling lynch in the first place. 85~ pitches, they did some damage but he had settled down and gotten 2 outs. Wasn’t demonstrating any of his typical signs of running out of gas.

My thought from game one. (forcing myself to have hope) Heck of a game from Lynch. His number was called, and he delivered. Looking back on this one, I don’t really point to the first inning and the missed opportunity with the bases loaded. For me, the biggest decision was going to McDuffie over Glauber in that spot. It felt like a departure from what has been the formula all season, with Glauber handling a large portion of the relief work in Game 1. I also look at the bats going completely cold after Carolina fell behind by just one run. The game was still well within reach, but the offense couldn’t generate any momentum, and from there things started to spiral. At the end of the day, it’s a series. The backs are against the wall, but the season isn’t over. Take care of business tomorrow, force a Game 3, and see what happens.
