@ryanair says arrive at Tenerife south airport 3 hours before flight but don’t open check in until 2 hours before the flight departs. Absolutely stupid and we are all stood in the queue waiting for the gates to open.

Good news - the works that have been ongoing in recent weeks to improve your security experience have been completed and we now advise departing passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before your flight as normal. The installation of this new security equipment means that you no longer need to place your liquids in a clear, sealable plastic bag as these can now simply remain in your hand luggage along with large electrical devices like laptops and iPads, as they pass through the security screening equipment. Liquid items are, however, still restricted to a container size of up to 100ml. Thank you for your patience during the completion of these works.
