i love this song. it's hard, but perfectly balanced, even classy with the sample and some of the percussion elements. everyone feels locked in and serve their purpose. one of migos' strongest singles for sure

When NBA YoungBoy started rapping like he the fourth Migo 😮💨

i don't think there is a single chorus this decade that's better than this.
songs that changed history@iconiksongs

pnd is great but he could never fill Weeknd's shoes commercially. weeknd was ready to make pop and turned out to be great at it, whereas pnd was a great pop writer, but lacked the charisma to pull off performances himself. he's still one of the most influential rnb artists ever.

I think it’s funny that Drake really tried to make another Weeknd with PND but party really just isn’t good at all lmao

@turnthenotison honestly, i feel you . BUT, when i first heard it i was in a mood where i didnt really want to enjoy it? if that makes sense. couple days later, i was at a library feeling kinda tired and melancholic and this album felt like a warm hug. its definitely a grower!

Embarrassing to admit I haven’t listened to much of James Blake’s solo work
Really wanted to like this album but imo this is pretty uninteresting apart from a few great moments in Make Something Up, Rest of Your Life and parts of Didn’t come to argue
Could see this growing on me because I can 100% see the vision this album is going for. Spacey, minimalistic production like this can be incredibly beautiful but I can’t say it’s working for me here. Not a fan of the way most of these songs are written.
I like Blake’s voice at a baseline but I don’t think he’s doing anything extraordinary with it on this.

SZA to @i_D on the rise of AI-generated music:
“It’s happening disproportionately with Black music. Why am I hearing AI covers of Olivia Dean, when Olivia Dean just came the f*ck out? She can’t even collect the streams. I’m also really offended by the type of Black music that’s coming out of AI. Weird, stereotypical struggle music.”
