Think Piece: Memecoins are THE future of finance. I don’t think people have fully grasped what we are early to, even after 2 cycles where there have been memecoins accessible to retail crypto users, we’re still early. Yes, memes are and have been slow for a fair bit of time now, but this is normal and expected. These on-chain movements come entirely in waves, and a cleanse was necessary to reset the deeply rotten sentiment created by bad actors this cycle. But all the people need are a few signs of that mania returning, and all the sidelined capital will flow right back when the time is right and people are organically positioned. Even now though, time isn’t up. Yes, a recession is likely coming within the next 2-3 years, but for now we seem safe in 2026 and to think that the Trump family would let the crime stop right now is silly imo. Whoever is running the market is going to continue whiplashing all the leverage out of it until people stop longing and shorting every dump and pump. But looking beyond a few years out, as I said memecoins are the future of finance. They’re the pinnacle of all of crypto, and it’s quite clear. Yes once again, sentiment has been fucked FOR NOW, but people underestimate the work that can be done across cycles to undo the work and sentiment the bozos have baked in. Nobody will care about the LA Vape cabal in 2030. There is nothing better that represents the human psyche financially than a fucking memecoin. We are here to GAMBLE. That’s the important part. Every adult has no idea that they currently have the opportunity to download a mobile app, and gamble their paychecks on stupid memes or narratives they resonate with. If the knowledge barrier was eliminated magically worldwide, memecoins would lead the entire planet in gambling volume, not sports betting, not casinos, yes memecoins, just think openly about it. Yeah people don’t get it yet, but the younger generations are starting to. Stated by GCR himself: “Want to do well trading over the next decade? You may not get it yet, but look around the globe and analyze the generations that we as a society are about to give the keys to as the boomers begin to pass. With the rise of AI and the impending fall of global economies, whether you like it or not there’s a high chance you’re going to end up being a neet. But maybe you would like that… maybe you don’t want to work like the previous generations were forced into working towards capitalisms end goal. In that case, then I’m sure it’s not hard to see what I mean. Movement coins are going to be bigger than anyone could ever imagine, and $NEET will lead the pack. Coins like SPX were a great blueprint, but at the end of the day everyone knows deep down they are NOT flipping the stock market. Neet answers to real world problems, and resonates with real people worldwide. A real movement. Neet embodies crypto, crypto embodies neet. It’s that simple. Neet will be a multicycle narrative, there’s not a question about that. And as memecoins only grow bigger, new waves of liquidity come in, and people begin to remember they can win again by believing in something, only then will they truly flourish as intended. Memecoins are going to be tokenized social groups, they’re going to be tools for brands, they’re going to be gambling on funny pictures, they will be everything crypto embodies. This cycle was just the test run for mass adoption, yall really haven’t clocked what’s coming yet.
