The Alliance was proud to attend the dedication of the Path of the Flood Trail in Cambria County, recently named PA’s 2025 Trail of the Year by @DCNRnews. Tracing the 1889 Johnstown Flood, it forms a powerful link in the 9/11 Trail, connecting stories of resilience.

On Monday, October 23, Alliance Board Members and President, Jeff McCauley, participated in the inaugural meeting of the bipartisan PA Senate 9/11 Trail Caucus. The gathering was held in the Harrisburg, PA at the State Capitol Building.

The Alliance is excited to share that a 9/11 bench is now proudly on display near the Remember Me Rose Garden entrance! Bike rack soon to follow. The garden is located along the 9/11 Trail a 1/4-mile from the @Flight93NPS entrance. A must-see tribute for the bucket list!

The East Coast Greenway team was well represented at a groundbreaking for Henrico County's Lakeside Community Trail! This segment will be part of the Fall Line Trail, a transformational 43-mile section of the East Coast Greenway in Virginia. @8NEWS: wric.com/community/fall…

Once complete, the Garrett Trailhead will eventually take 9/11 National Memorial Trail users directly to the Flight 93 Memorial. 🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏿🇺🇸

On October 10, Alliance President, Jeff McCauley, joined Somerset County for a tree planting day. 🌱🌳🌳 The group planted 18 new trees as part of the first step in completing the Garrett Trailhead. Swipe ➡️ to see the proposed plans for the Trailhead!

Today, and everyday, we work to honor the many fallen heroes who perished on 9/11/01 as well as the first responders who put their lives on the line for our nation. As we join our country in reflection today, may we honor the commitment we pledged 22 years ago... to #NeverForget
