Another thing I loved about this scene is how when Buck asks him how he thinks its going to go, Eddie doesn't sugarcoat it. He's honest with Buck but also supportive, and you can tell Buck appreciates that honesty. I love their relationship so much #911onABC

this whole second half of the season has felt so cohesive. they’re making callbacks to scenes/lines from past episodes, they’re really embracing the found family aspect while also giving interesting emergencies, they’re writing characters storylines with real emotional payoffs

In my opinion a beautiful point of this storyline was to show that you can love someone infinitely & still miss the signs and what matters more is when they ask for help you show up - which they did. So any criticism about people not realizing sooner comes across tone deaf to me
