Today marks 31 years since going freelance (gulp). In that time, there have been some ‘fantastic’ years, some ‘okay’ years and some ‘just-getting-by’ years. Despite the occasional bump, I’m glad I chose this particular road. I must be doing something right - I’m still standing!

FF Malcom McCarthy has finally called time on his 46 year career in the LFB. Malcolm joined in 1979 and has served at Heston, Soho, Paddington, Harrow and Stanmore. Have a long, happy and healthy retirement. 🍾👏🏻

@LFBHarrow I served with Malcolm whilst at D27/G38 Heston. I always remember Malcolm’s belt having a few tools attached. He was the equivalent of a human leather man tool. Huge respect & well deserved retirement 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Visited Tesco earlier and had reason to go to the pharmacy. Male in front of me had no top on, what appeared to be whip marks on his back and a huge tattoo of a gun on his chest. He wanted medication to enhance his testosterone levels. He was advised to go to Holland & Barratt.
