@KaterynaLis Don’t lie. Both RU and UA have a common origin, a heritage which is a major part of Kyivan Rus, a federation centered in Kyiv from the 9th to 13th centuries. Otherwise UA exists since 1991 = 35 years and RU is, depending on how we count it 3/5/700 years old.

First, russians make you submissive, then they take your language, your history, your memory, and your identity. The only problem is that the Ukrainian nation is much older than theirs; it has deeper and stronger roots in its land, and despite all the generations they’ve destroyed, all the history and culture they’ve tried to erase, and all the branches of its tree they’ve cut off, it keeps growing back - bigger and stronger.
