It’s funny most fans don’t even clock it but I’ll spill it as usual. As good as Gabriel Magalhães is, he’s part of the reason we struggle to play out from the back, especially when Calafiori is not next to him. It’s either he’s over hitting the pass or picking the wrong player to pass to.

Arsenal fans will understandably point to the absence of their first-choice winger (Saka), playmaker (Odegaard), right-back (Timber) and left-back (Calafiori). But these are the hurdles you need to overcome if you want to win the league. Nowhere near good enough.
