That’s not even remotely true. Bure went through defenders and created offense on his own. Look at the 00-01 Panthers. Bure had 29.5% of their total goals and 17.26% of their total points. You telling me he that led the NHL in goals from off puck situations beating defenders in soft zones with speed when the second highest scorer on his team had 37 points makes me question how much you were watching him.

@92In82 Bure over Kane for talent is certainly an interesting choice given that Bure wasn't as good as Kane on the puck. Most of Bure's goals were off the puck beating defenders in soft zones with his speed.

First American born to win the Hart and Ross. 3 cups, a Conn Smythe. He has the accolades. Selanne is the greatest Finnish talent ever and is one of the greatest goal scorers ever. No one will ever duplicate his rookie dominance. His down side is that the individual accolades aren’t there. He has a legendary longevity though, as there are less than a handful of players productive as he was in his early 40’s. This isn’t a slight at Hawerchuk by any means, as he might be the most underrated player of all-time. He just doesn’t have the hardware, as he had the misfortune of being born and playing in the wrong generation. In any other, he’d likely have at least 1-2 Hart and Art Ross trophies.
