President Donald Trump on Thursday granted pardons to former #NFL players — Joe Klecko, Nate Newton, Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry — and the late Billy Cannon. The group includes a Pro Football Hall of Famer, multiple All-Pros and Pro Bowlers, and a Heisman Trophy winner — all previously convicted in federal cases spanning perjury, drug trafficking, and counterfeiting. Trump has also pardoned former New York Mets star Darryl Strawberry in the past.
