I don't think you understand the underlying infrastructure that is the competitive sports machine in America. If every school that plays American Football were to add football teams, coaching, backing, etc. in 10 years we'd be able to field 50 teams that rival Brazil, Germany, and France. We'll have the best at a level other nations won't be able to comprehend.

13C outside doesn’t mean it can’t be 25C indoors. Been in way too many (European) hotels where A/C was disabled „for the winter“ and stuck in hot rooms with windows that don’t open. Never an issue in the US. Room temperature is comfortable year round regardless of the outside temp.

Youth football updates for next season has under 7s changing from 5 a side to 3v3 with no goalkeepers. Am I a dinosaur at 39 or is that a madness? Genuinely interested to hear views. 3v3 is a training session, not an organised fixture in my opinion

@AvfcU Yeah i do get what you're saying, I did think of the practicality of it with pitches/volunteers but my understanding, any adult (without need of qualifications etc) can stand and supervise a game so no reason for parents not to get involved to facilitate more games

@9938Carl I think if you’re in an academy setup that’s different to your regular grass roots team. My thoughts are about ensuring as many kids can play as possible and also how many volunteers you’ll need to find. Neither of these are issues in an academy set up
